Cathleen Shera's insights on wellness living in private homes have garnered attention, as she believes it to be the future of interior design and essential for her clients' well-being. Her journey began in 1985 after graduating in Business and Marketing from California State University, Sacramento, with a focus on Textiles, Economics, and Business Management. Starting her first design showroom the same year, she quickly transformed it into one of California's largest flooring and decor showrooms, with annual sales surpassing 8 million.
In 1991, Cathleen ventured into a partnership that led to the establishment of Showplace East, a luxurious home improvement mall in Rocklin, California. This venture marked one of the first complete collections of showrooms for premium construction materials. Later, in 1998, she moved to southern California, where she undertook the development of numerous high-end single-family homes in Rancho Santa Fe's scenic Covenant community. Her accomplishments included the successful completion of over 40 luxury residences from the ground up in just a few years.
Over the last decade, Cathleen Shera collaborated closely with renowned architects and developers to pioneer a new standard of wellness living in interior design projects. These projects incorporated state-of-the-art resort-style amenities, such as massage and meditation rooms, water and fire features, personal gyms, family spa rooms, and thermal pools. These outstanding properties were located in highly sought-after destinations like La Quinta's Madison Club, Fairbanks Ranch, The Covenant in Rancho Santa Fe, and the prestigious view lots of Beverly Hills, California, including the famed Bird Streets.
Adding to her accomplishments, in 2009, Ms. Shera expanded her design approach by becoming a top luxury real estate agent. Since then, she has successfully handled over 150 million in luxury real estate transactions and remains a leading producer with Coldwell Banker, Global Luxury Specialist.
